Our Madison, Wisconsin office is seeking a Senior Telecommunications Consultant to advise our clients on business strategies, opportunities and state and federal regulatory issues. BKD’s firmwide industry leading experts and vast resources would be fully available to support these efforts.     What You Will Do: - Establish and maintain new and existing client relationships - Maintain up to date knowledge of industry regulations and filing requirements - Develop and implement strategic business plans - Consult on state and federal regulatory issues and interpretations - Assist clients with any CLEC planning and implementation - Negotiate with regulatory agencies on industry players - Develop strategy and the tariff filing package for rate changes - Delegate and oversee the process of assisting clients with completing and submitting required industry filings - Write and deliver presentations and proposals to continue marketing services to potential clients and industry groups - Present at and attend seminars, trade shows, and client relations functions - Maintain accurate records of time and expenses to ensure proper client billing - Possibly travel overnight, up to 20% - Other projects or duties as assigned
