The BKD audit team provides assurance services that go beyond the compliance function. This team brings credibility to our clients' financial picture, communicates information objectively and clearly, and provides insight to help clients improve their businesses.  As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for providing unmatched client service while managing audit engagements, working with associates and the engagement partner, as well as the client.  Responsibilities include: - Assist in managing, developing and coaching professional staff - Manage all aspects of an audit engagement, including: planning, fieldwork, reporting, and wrap-up - Work with team to identify engagement and operating problems and provide timely solutions and consultation directly to partners and senior management - Research technical accounting issues - Manage multiple concurrent engagements without disruption or loss of control and within scheduled deadlines - Participate in business development and proposal opportunities with leadership from partners and senior management - Identify opportunities for improvement on assigned engagements - Communicate complicated accounting literature in a manner that client staff and senior management will comprehend and understand

We leverage a unique approach through Data Analytics to provide insights that traditional diligence may not capture.   Responsibilities:   - Perform buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity groups and corporate clients.  - Analyze financial and operational results of target companies and prepare quality of earnings reports. - Prepare and evaluate pro forma financial information, identify diligence issues and opportunities as well as recommend post-acquisition actions. - Research and analyze industry standards, trends and target companies. - Work closely with client executives, investment bankers, private equity and corporate clients, attorneys or other stakeholders. - Work alongside and supervise other BKD team members to exceed client expectations.
