The campus recruiting responsibilities include the execution of full life-cycle campus recruiting as designated in BKD’s university recruiting strategy. Campus Recruiters are highly visible representatives of the firm that promote the BKD brand across campus communities and maintain excellent relationships with candidates, faculty, career center staff, managing partners and other office personnel involved in the recruiting process. Campus Recruiters are responsible for understanding and communicating overall firm and individual office culture, working with offices to identify entry-level and intern hiring needs and attracting candidates to fill these needs across the firm. This role serves as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for candidates, educational institutions and BKD.   This role will work with our Pittsburgh, Fort Wayne, Nashville, and Bowling Green offices to recruit interns and new associates to the firm. At this time travel to campuses is not expected yet will be in the future as universities, cities and BKD release COVID-19 restrictions.    What You Will Do: - Collaborate with managing partners and other campus recruiters to understand staffing needs across the firm - Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all campus hires - Develop and execute an annual recruiting plan for target universities - Plan/coordinate and attend campus recruiting events such as career fairs, student organization meetings, campus interviews, networking events, mock interviews, resume review sessions, etc. - Effectively source candidates from targeted universities, personal interaction, and through online sources (LinkedIn), personal interaction, resume review and interviews - Develop relationships with and serve as the primary point of contact for candidates through the full recruiting cycle - Coordinate with offices to plan and execute our office interview process; participate in-office interview events - Manage ATS; maintain accurate and organized documentation on all candidates and candidate interactions - Coordinate internship programs and employee onboarding processes as needed  - Participate in the development and execution of national recruiting activities as needed   A Successful Trusted Advisor Has: - Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude - A high degree of initiative; ability to think proactively and problem-solve - Excellent project management, decision-making, writing and oral communication skills - Ability to command the attention and respect of firm leaders   - Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, web-based applications and email - Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to confidently and comfortably deliver presentations and speak in front of large groups - Ability to quickly learn firm policies, procedures, infrastructure and service lines - Solid event planning abilities - Knowledge of laws and practices applicable to recruiting and hiring or the ability to gain this knowledge quickly and efficiently
