The Marketing Manager helps our team identify and track business opportunities, advise and assist developing relationships with prospective clients, coordinates office marketing strategies and executes internal and external communications. In this position, you will collaborate with numerous industry leaders and other marketing and business development personnel throughout the firm. This role will be based out of our New York office.   What You Will Do: - Identify appropriate marketing strategies and tactics to improve brand awareness and generate demand for BKD services. - Work with Office Industry Leaders (OILs) in developing office industry plans and ensuring completion of plan tasks. - Assist executives in developing and executing on personal growth plans. - Assist executives with nurturing of prospects by researching, identifying and drafting communications and campaigns to keep BKD in front of targeted prospects - Lead, coordinate and design new and creative ideas around the firm’s prospecting efforts - Lead the development and execution of seminars/roundtables, speaking engagements and client appreciation events - Identify and coordinate strategic community involvement and sponsorships - Develop a local market advertising plan, coordinate ad placements and track ad metrics. - Actively manage successful sales pursuit efforts through team involvement, market research and communication throughout impact prospect opportunities - Manage contacts using Salesforce CRM system including entering new contacts, updating contacts, supporting lead generating activities and creating reports - Identify, compose and submit social media posts for posting on BKD social media accounts - Develop and execute a media and public relations plan. Develop relationships with journalists to position BKD as the “go-to” resource for accounting information - Develop announcements celebrating client pursuit successes

Our New York office is actively seeking a dedicated Managing Consultant for the Emerging Accounting Outsourcing Services Team.   This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an accounting background in small business accounting software packages, financial statements, payroll and sales taxation and accounting operations. This is an excellent role to expand your knowledge of accounting operations and gain exposure to business development activities.   What You Will Do: - Manage client outsourced accounting engagements for small to mid-size organizations while advising on accounting matters including accounting systems, financial statements, payroll and sales taxation and more. - Help develop, build and manage client relationships - Represent BKD in the professional and business community - Formally assess client’s current accounting system and business functions - Recommend formal improvements to client’s systems - Implement recommendations to the system - Assist clients with management reporting including budgeting, KPIs, and other metrics - Research, discovery, and creation of new business technologies to streamline and grow the practice including opportunities with existing clients - Participate in the proposal process for prospective clients - Assist in managing, developing and coaching accounting outsourcing services staff - Represent BKD in the professional business community

Your primary responsibility will be growing a practice through the execution of financial due diligence engagements, new business development and relationship management.   What You Will Do: - Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements - Analyze financial and operational results of target companies - Evaluate financial information, identify diligence issues and opportunities as well as recommend post-acquisition actions - Prepare and review reports regarding due diligence and financial analysis - Research and analyze industry standards, trends and target companies - Work closely with executives, investment bankers, private equity and corporate clients, attorneys or other stakeholders - Actively pursue new clients for the transaction services team - Recruit, lead, supervise and train team members providing transaction services to clients - Work alongside other BKD team members to exceed client expectations
