  • Responsibilities

    Our Bloomington, IN location is seeking a part-time Administrative Generalist to join our team!  This person will provide a wide-range of support to the entire office and can expect to work approximately 20 hours per week.  


    Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

    • Document typing, formatting, proofreading and editing of firm correspondence and client deliverables, including letters, reports, presentations, memos, charts, contracts, labels, envelopes, lists, forms and planning documents, following consistent application of the BKD Stylebook and Brand Standards Guide
    • Administrative tasks such as:
      • Mail merges
      • Print and copy requests
      • Scanning projects
      • Filing
      • Preparing mailers
      • Scheduling meetings
      • Providing other assistance as needed
    • Handling incoming and outgoing mail
    • Provide assistance with tax processing during peak seasons


    • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required; completed coursework from an accredited college/university or Associate’s Degree preferred
    • Administrative experience in a professional services environment preferred
    • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
    • Advanced proofreading skills required (English, spelling, grammar, etc.)
    • Detail oriented (must be able to verify numerical accuracy)
    • Must work well in a team environment
